Here’s what some of our students have had to say about their experiences: Yoga has completely changed
my life through changing my outlook on all life. I became able know myself,
accept myself and, ultimately, transform into what I never knew was a
possibility for me ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After losing 125 pounds from
regular yoga practice over the past 2 years, I have a whole new awareness
of my physical, emotional and spiritual self. While staring up at the
emergency room lights in St. Francis hospital, being laughed at by the
medical profession for having heart disease related angina at such an
early age (24), I found a way to take responsibility for my own health
and well being. I owe the quality of my life to this remarkable yoga practice

I sweat it off and was better able to follow a healthy eating plan. I

every year around the holiday season and this year I was much calmer!

in my neck and it hurt so much! Since I began this yoga I feel great!

I've received from hot yoga. ------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Mary, My menstrual cycle did not come for over 2 1/2 years. I went to three different ob/gyn doctors/specialists and they all told me I was too thin and due to working out all the time I was not menstruating. I was not satisfied with that answer, so my ob/gyn doctor induced my period with a prescription drug and I got my period for 3 days and it went away and did not come back until they gave me the prescription drug again after 6 months, once again got it for a couple days and it went away. I started researching natural ways to induce my period and a friend told me about hot yoga and how it balances your body out and gets everything in your body flowing properly. I went to a Hot Yoga class and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I continued going after about 3 weeks my menstrual cycle started. I continued hot yoga and the following month and from thereafter my menstrual cycle was regular. Even though the doctors don't believe it was due to hot yoga I definitely do. Thank you!!!!
